Boomer’s is a place for families to come enjoy a movie.  As you make your way from the main gate, your family is transported back to a simpler time where you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the show, while leaving your worries behind.  Located on the fairgrounds in Murillo, Ontario, it provides the perfect backdrop for an afternoon show, or an evening under the stars.

RULES

Employees and security will remain on the grounds at all times for the safety of our guests.

Management has the right to refuse service/admission to anyone at anytime for any reason as they see fit.

All ticket sales are final NO REFUNDS are given at any time, please make sure you carefully select the desired showings, any requests or inquiries might take up to 10 days to be resolved.

If a power outage or such act of nature, or technical difficulty beyond our control occurs, we will offer passes, and or rain checks at which it is your choice which you prefer to accept. The passes will be good for 15 days.

We CANNOT make exceptions to our parking policy, even if you are with someone in a different sized vehicle than your own. Please come early, if you arrive late please do not expect to get a good spot. We thank you in advance.

Sound will be broadcasted through car radios, make sure your radio works and you can tune to a custom station upon arrival.

The SPEED LIMIT on the lot is 10km/h AT ALL TIMES!!! PLEASE watch for pedestrians.

We hold the right to change the movies at any time if needed, due to recent changes in laws and regulations certain movies will be pulled from our system and will no longer have permission to show them.

Movies will play as scheduled rain or shine, even in thunderstorms. Other than power outage we will run the show no matter what. Frequently, threats of rain do not materialize or the rain stops. Some people don’t mind “watching” the movie with the wipers going. We ask that you hang in there until you see what the weather is going to do.

We ask all attendees to stay in their cars during the time on our property, If bathroom trips are necessary please make sure to wear a mask and stay 6ft away from all pedestrians. We have taken enhanced health and safety measures.

Follow all posted instructions while visiting our facility. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present.

FAQ

No.  We are an unlicensed venue.

There is no closed captioning available.

Vehicles will be spaced at least 8 feet apart from each other.

Tickets can only be purchased online.  There is no ability to purchase a ticket from the gate attendant.

Please make sure you do not make the mistake of shining your car headlights during the show.  If you need to turn your engine on during the show, most late model cars will leave your headlights off if you set the parking brake first.

Yes, you can leave at any time during the movie.  No refunds will be provided.

Yes, you can bring your RV, The lot attendants will direct you to the back of the theatre.

Dogs (well behaved) are more than welcome on a leash and cleaned up after. Management reserves the right to refuse any pets admission.

The sound will come through your car stereo.  Before the movie, the FM station to tune your radio to will be displayed on the screen.

Yes, many of your favourite local food vendors will be onsite providing the food that you love once approved by the Thunder Bay District Health Unit.

Parking spots are on a first come first serve basis.  Cars will be in the front rows, while larger vehicles will be directed further back.

The gate opens approximately one hour prior to the start time of the movie.

Yes, you can stay.  Please let the gate attendant know you are staying for the second movie upon entering.  An attendant will come around to scan your ticket for the second show during the break between the shows.

We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate the needs of individuals with disabilities. Since parking spots are limited close to the food vendors and washrooms, please arrive early for these spots, as they are available on a first come, first serve basis.

Yes, we will remain open during rain, storms and other bad weather, unless it is unsafe to do so.

Yes, there is a fenced off area for smoking.
